Illegal Aliens and Federal Benefits
Theoretically, the law forbids illegal aliens from receiving benefits reserved for American citizens with the exception of emergency Medicaid. In practice, it does not prevent any of them from applying for and receiving benefits paid for by American taxpayers who sometimes, are themselves denied benefits.
Emergency Medicaid provided in emergency rooms, although well intentioned, has been used and abused by illegal aliens as their own personal physician, resulting in the bankruptcy of many small hospitals across the nation, particularly in California.
Federal benefits distributed to illegal aliens include: grants, contracts, loans, professional and commercial licenses, retirement, welfare, WIC, disability, public housing, college education, Pell grants, food stamps, tax credits, earned income credits, tax refunds, and unemployment benefits.
The Census Bureau reports 40 million foreign-born people residing in the United States. In this category, one-third is estimated to be illegal aliens. Liberal mainstream media calls them “undocumented workers,” “in the shadows residents,” or “unauthorized residents.”
I don’t know where to start. I live in Texas. I live on a short block of about 15 homes. Four of the homes are illegals. This is how they get food stamps. One family may have 2 kids. However, when they go to sign up for food stamps. They “borrow” one of their relatives (or neighbor’s children to go to the food stamp office for the first time. The next day, the neighbor (or relative “borrows their children” to go to sign up for food stamp.
In other words, Including the adults they get food for 4-6 children vs. their own two kids.
I have been shopping at the same grocery store for 20 years so I know most of the employees and we chat They get upset. They see an illegal couple coming in and grab two baskets. They fill both baskets top and bottom with food.
HOWEVER, then they go to the car to unload the groceries; and go back into the store.
Only this time, both of them pushing baskets full of beer and wine (top and bottom of the baskets!).
I had one Mexican woman walk up to me and the only two words she knew in English was “Parkland Hospital (Dallas County Hospital)..and shrugged her shoulders as to where it was.
Then she motioned for me to “write it down.”
I walked off.
Parkland Hospital has “9” Pre-Natal Clinics” NINE!!!
Parkland is also home to the second busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year. (That’s almost 44 per day—every day)!
