Islam Is Not Part of Our Civilization

Like so many faiths, Islam has always been part of our American family, and Muslim Americans have long contributed to the strength and character of our country, in all walks of life.
These words have no basis in fact. Islam is not part of our civilization because its foundational principles are opposite to ours. Our civilization is built on the foundation of critical thought (how we think) and the Golden Rule (ethics). Islam is built on submission (authoritative thought) and ethical dualism.

Thank you Julie. A LOT of folks do NOT know anything about Islam. They don’t investigate for themselves, just rely on others’ opinions.

Actually, Islam had a large influence on the Renaissance Period in history, on art, architecture, education, math, etc. via their occupying Andalusia and lower parts of Europe. Only a couple decades ago did mathematicians begin to understand quasicrystalline geometry, the basis of Islamic architecture, which was tied very heavily into their faith and their worldview.
