The media has been conducting some somewhat clever misdirection in the wake of the horrific mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue last month.
As they are wont to do, they’ve blamed President Trump for a rise in antisemitism…while blatantly ignoring the raging antisemitism on the left.
This is, of course, the same mainstream media who will turn around and hail the election of the first Palestinian-American Muslim to Congress, completely failing to mention she’s about as antisemitic as they come.
Rashida Tlaib was just elected to represent Michigan’s 13th District in Congress, a district which includes parts of Detroit and some of the surrounding areas.
Here’s a video of Tlaib’s victory party where, although there is a Palestinian flag wrapped around her like a regular Hamas “protester”, there isn’t an American flag in sight.
The Washington Examiner published an opinion piece this week decrying her election to the US House of Representatives and shedding light on her staunch anti-Israel position and association with known antisemites.
For one, the piece noted, Tlaib is a proponent of the “one-state solution” in the Middle East which would deny the Israeli people a right to their own sovereign country.
She is also a strong supporter of the “Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions” movement, once headlining a BDS rally in 2014 with a man named Dawud Walid, who has openly blamed “the Jews” for bringing the “wrath of Allah” upon themselves.
Tlaib also rubs elbows with Women’s March co-founder Linda Sarsour, who is an open antisemite, supporter of Sharia Law, and admirer, along with Tlaib, of Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh, who is a convicted murderer.
During the Michigan Democratic primary, Jewish outlet The Algemeiner dug up even more dirt on Tlaib and her anti-Israel agenda.
Odeh, who Tlaib so admires, was convicted in 1969 for carrying out a terrorist bomb attack that killed two American students at a grocery store in Jerusalem. While she was sentenced to life in prison in Israel, she was released in a prisoner exchange a short 10 years later. She then moved to the US, where after being lionized as a great freedom fighter by the left, she was convicted of immigration fraud in 2014 and deported.
Tlaib is also an open fan of Islamic Relief, a Muslim Brotherhood-linked group that was classified by the UAE as a terrorist group in 2014.
This newly-elected Muslim congresswoman is so radical, in fact, that she’s openly criticized members of her own party for being too friendly with Israeli interests. Imagine that.
In Tlaib’s view, California Senator Kamala Harris is “racist” for having met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and worked with the Israeli government on a number of issues.
She also voiced support earlier this year for a Palestinian girl who was detained temporarily for violent attacking an Israeli soldier.
And, perhaps most damning of all, Tlaib has called for the virtual elimination of the Israeli state, to be replaced by Palestine.
She’s also vocalized her intention to take the oath of office on a Quran.
Far-left progressives like those running the Democratic party right now are bad enough. A woman who pledges allegiance to a religion that pledges the destruction of the Jewish people and Christians is straight-up treason, and completely inconsistent with American values.
