TheGatewayPundit — When David Hogg organized a die-in at a Publix supermarket over their donations to an NRA-supported candidate, he caused them to cancel all political donations — including to organizations that fund Planned Parenthood.

The level of liberal self own is truly awe-inspiring.

Hogg’s followers laid in the aisles of Publix grocery stores for 15 minutes on Friday, blocking customers from shopping.

After Publix announced its decision to halt political donations, Hogg tweeted “Together we can do anything.”

And then news broke that Hogg’s little stunt caused Publix to cease ALL charitable giving – even to Planned Parenthood!

Publix issued a statement on Friday saying that it will “suspend corporate-funded political contributions as we reevaluate our giving processes.”

Twitter users quickly found a list of the causes that Publix had been supporting — and the Democratic Party can’t be happy about it.

Publix was contributing to the YMCA, who is a member of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, the YWCA who supports LGBT causes, United Way chapters that have funded Planned Parenthood, as well as March of Dimes and Susan G. Koman — both of which continue to fund the controversial clinics.

Because David Hogg convinced Publix to pull political funding from an NRA supporting candidate, they also backed out of funding for same-sex marriage and abortion advocacy…

Maybe Hogg’s stunts will save some lives after all, though we don’t think the unborn were the little lives he was aiming for.

Hogg originally demanded Publix donate $1 million to the Stoneman Douglass student fund.

I call on @Publix to donate double the money they gave to Putman to the Stoneman Douglas Victims fund, $1,000,000. And never support an A rated NRA politician again.

After the Tampa Bay Times reported Publix donated $650,000 Putnam last week, Hogg started campaigning against Putnam and Publix, calling for a for people to “die in” at the store until it rescinded its endorsement of the candidate.

Anyone who supports an NRA sellout is an NRA sellout. That is why I am calling on everyone to stop shopping at Publix until they pull their endorsement of Putnam publicly. Publix is supporting the inaction after pulse, strozier, Douglas, liberty city. Don’t support an NRA sellout
