Give Me Your Dreamers …

Does anyone know why President Trump loves “Dreamers” — i.e.: illegal aliens allegedly brought here before the age of 12 (which no federal judge will ever check) by their parents (which no federal judge will ever check), “through no fault of their own” (which no federal judge will ever check)?

We’ve been lectured by Mark Zuckerberg about how much better “Dreamers” are than you lazy Americans — especially African-Americans, whose jobs are disproportionately taken by illegals. (As former Mexican President Vicente Fox once charmingly put it, illegal immigrants “are doing jobs that not even blacks want to do there in the United States.”)

So why aren’t we being bombarded with television interviews and profiles of these amazing human beings?

Liberals can’t make an argument without producing a victim. Attack the media — they bleat about journalists getting shot in the face while reporting abroad. Complain about FBI corruption — they choke up over G-men putting their lives on the line EVERY DAY! Denounce the Deep State — they moan that CIA officers have been killed in the line of duty.

Isn’t this the moment for our hearts to be breaking over the millions of wonderful “Dreamers” who will suffer unless we amnesty them immediately?

Let’s see ’em! Surely they’ve got a few Einsteins! After all, the media are capable of turning a gang-admiring thug who forcibly robbed a convenience store and assaulted a cop into “Gentle giant, Mike Brown.” They turned jewelry-stealing juvenile delinquent Trayvon Martin into an altar boy.

But even MSNBC dare not show us Trump’s beloved “Dreamers.” The snarling Muslim showcased by the Democrats at their 2016 convention has gotten more airtime than any “Dreamer.”

There are plenty of vague descriptions of “Dreamers,” all of whom seem to be valedictorians. But can anyone identify precisely what they have contributed to our country — other than lots of police work, welfare and protests?

The best “Dreamers” always sound like the “honor student” in Tom Wolfe’s Bonfire of the Vanities: “somebody who attends class, isn’t disruptive, tries to learn, and does all right at reading and arithmetic.”

How about MSNBC interview five new “Dreamers” every night? Five non-hateful ones are probably the most they could get.

As long as Trump is going to keep babbling about these “absolutely incredible kids” — “I love these kids!” — and obstinately refuse to deport them, he must have met thousands of them. He plans to amnesty millions.

Why doesn’t Trump showcase his favorite two dozen “Dreamers”? Let the rest of us decide how “incredible” they are.

But no Glamour magazine profiles, please! We want to know everything, e.g.: How much have they cost the taxpayers in free school lunches and medical care? How many anchor babies have they had? What percentage have been convicted of a felony or killed someone in a drunk driving accident? How many have been admitted to college by taking affirmative action spots intended for the descendants of American slaves?

In 2009, The New York Times‘ Lawrence Downes gushed over illegal alien Benita Veliz. Three years later, liberals still hadn’t come up with a better one: In 2012, she was the featured illegal alien at the Democratic National Convention. (It only seems like the Democrats have an illegal alien speak at all their conventions. Veliz was the first.)

Downes ticked off Veliz’s “impressive” accomplishments: “She was valedictorian at Jefferson High School” — naturally! — “graduating at age 16. She went to St. Mary’s University in San Antonio on a full scholarship.” (A scholarship, I note, that otherwise might have gone to a yucky American.)

I gather Veliz is the left’s designated baby seal of “Dreamers.”

Veliz is probably a nice lady, but she was valedictorian at a school that Downes would never send his kids to. Jefferson High School is 98 percent minority, less than half the students are “English proficient,” and only 16 percent are ready for college.

HOW DID AMERICA EVER GET BY WITHOUT HER?

Or to use Downes’ more-relaxed standard: “How will this country be a better place once we force Benita Veliz to leave it?”

Off the top of my head: There would be less strain on education budgets, hospital emergency rooms, roads and bridges, and that college scholarship Veliz got would be open to an American kid.

This is a country built by Western Europeans. Immigrants arrived after it was already set up and running well. The idea that any immigrant who hasn’t committed a felony is someone we can’t live without is absurd.

If you’re a yuppie in a rich white area and don’t like cleaning your toilets, the Trump administration has been great for you. But if you’re a Trump voter, you’re scratching your head wondering what happened to those campaign promises that set him apart from every other Republican.

Lars Larson Show: Criminal Alien of the Week Report

    September 14, 2017

    Lars:

It has been an interesting second full week in the month of September when it comes to criminal aliens (illegal aliens) here in the Pacific Northwest states of Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

This week we take a look at for your radio listeners at another illegal alien who has been a participant in the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program who now faces serious criminal charges in Yamhill County, Oregon.

On Wednesday, August 30, 2017 Jonathan Alcantara Romero (SID: 20837259), age 26, was arraigned in Yamhill County Circuit Court on charges of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and Attempted Sexual Abuse in the First Degree. The charges against Jonathan Alcantara Romero are related to his alleged illicit involvement with a 14-year-old girl.

Jonathan Alcantara Romero is currently incarcerated at the Yamhill County Jail.

Wanting to know the current immigration status of Jonathan Alcantara Romero, I contacted via e-mail on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Western Regional Communications Director/Spokesperson Virginia C. Kice.

The next day, September 13th here is what ICE Spokeswoman Kice had to say via e-mail in response to my inquiry for information on Jonathan Alcantara Romero:

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) transferred Mr. Alcantara to the custody of the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office Aug. 29 in furtherance of his criminal prosecution for a felony sex offense. At that time, ICE deportation officers lodged an immigration detainer against Mr. Alcantara.

Since Oregon authorities generally don’t honor the agency’s detainers, prior to transferring Mr. Alcantara to the custody of local authorities, ICE officers requested and received a transportation order signed by a Yamhill County Circuit Court judge ordering that he be returned to ICE custody upon completion of the criminal proceedings.

ICE took Mr. Alcantara into custody Nov. 2, 2016, and placed him in removal proceedings. ICE targeted Mr. Alcantara for arrest based upon his October 2016 conviction related to multiple misdemeanor counts, including Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Shortly after his arrest by ICE, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services terminated Mr. Alcantara’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. On Aug. 14 an immigration judge with the Department of Justice’s Executive Office for Immigration Review ordered Mr. Alcantara removed from the United States.” – Virginia C. Kice.

    Analysis of the preceding information:

The story of Jonathan Alcantara Romero being returned by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement from the ICE Tacoma Northwest Detention Center in the State of Washington to Yamhill County, Oregon to face local criminal charges is a encouraging story of some level of cooperation between ICE and a local Yamhill County Circuit Court judge and local county law enforcement officials.

Jonathan Alcantara Romero’s being picked up by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after his conviction in Yamhill County for multiple misdemeanors, like Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII), is an strong indicator that ICE is working hard to remove criminal aliens from the state despite the State of Oregon’s sanctuary statute (ORS 181A.820).

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ termination of Jonathan Alcantara Romero being an active Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipient means there is one less of the approximately 11,281 active US CIS DACA recipients living in the State of Oregon. A reminder about DACA, “Deferred action does not provide lawful status” (DACA recipients and their parents are all illegally present in the United States).

The Center for Immigration Studies, a Washington, D.C. based immigration issue think tank, has identified Yamhill County, as sanctuary for illegal aliens.

If the residents of Yamhill County want to be protected and safe from threat illegal aliens who commit criminal acts like those allegedly committed by Jonathan Alcantara Romero against a 14 year old girl they should contact their two United States Senators’ Jeff Merkley and Ron Wyden and tell them to pass the “No Sanctuary for Criminals Act (H.R. 3003) and Kate’s Law (H.R. 3004)” this congressional legislative session.

Lars, the second full week of September and another criminal alien report for Lars Larson Show KXL FM 101.1 radio listeners.

Lars Larson Show: Criminal Alien of the Week Report

    August 3, 2017

    Lars:

It has been an interesting first week in the month of August when it comes to criminal aliens (illegal aliens) here in the Pacific Northwest states of Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

This week we take a look at for your radio listeners at an illegal alien who has been a participant in the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program who now faces serious criminal charges in Washington’s King County.

On Thursday, June 29, 2017 Salvador Diaz-Garcia, age 23, was arrested by law enforcement in the City of Burien (King County Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement for the city). A view of the King County Jail website reveals Salvador Diaz-Garcia has been charged with Assault, Assault in the Second Degree and Child Molestation in the Third Degree. Diaz-Garcia’s bail has been set at $350,000.00.

The charges against Salvador Diaz-Garcia (Current booking #217019023) are related to his alleged violent attack on a 19-year-old female and in an unrelated incident evolving the alleged molestation of a 14 year old girl.

According to local news media, a King County Sheriff Deputy’s incident report described the 19-year-old female as having extensive head injuries that included right ear torn and dangling, front teeth missing or damaged, upper lip torn and head cuts. Details about the molestation of 14 year old girl are also covered in by the same online local media outlet.

Wanting to know the current immigration status of Salvador Diaz-Garcia, I contacted via e-mail and a phone call on Thursday, August 3, 2017 Western Region Director U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Spokesperson Virginia C. Kice.

Just hours later, on same day, here is what ICE Spokeswoman Kice had to say via e-mail in response to my inquiry for information on Salvador Diaz-Garcia:

“David…as I mentioned on the phone…we have lodged a detainer against this individual…although as you know…very few law enforcement agencies in the Washington honor our detainers.” – Virginia C. Kice

I had also inquired from ICE Spokesperson Kice about Salvador Diaz-Garcia’s DACA status, so the ICE Spokesperson forwarded my questions to U.S. CIS Spokesperson Gillian M. Christensen.

Here is what CIS Spokesperson Christensen had to say on the afternoon of August 3rd about Salvador Diaz-Garcia’s DACA status:

“Salvador Garcia Diaz was granted DACA in June 2013 and was an active DACA recipient at the time the crime was committed. His DACA has been terminated today, per standard procedure, based on his criminal arrest.” – Gillian M Christensen

    Analysis of the preceding information:

It is fortunate that Salvador Garcia’s current bail has been set at $350,000.00 because King County Sheriff John Urquhart has been prohibited by a September 3, 2014 Metropolitan King County Council Ordinance 17886 from honoring federal immigration detainers.

Since November 10, 2009 when the Council of King County passed Ordinance 16692 county law enforcement has been prohibited from enforcing federal immigration law.

To the further detriment of enforcement of federal immigration law, the City of Burien Mayor and City Council in January 9, 2017 passed Ordinance No. 651 prohibiting city police from enforcing federal immigration law.

Without a doubt, the Metropolitan King County Council and the City of Burien Mayor and City Council have tied the hands of county and city law enforcement from forming any cooperative agreements with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to enforce federal immigration law in the county.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ termination of Salvador Diaz-Garcia being an active Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipient means there is one less of the approximately 17,843 active US CIS DACA recipients living in the State of Washington. A reminder about DACA, “Deferred action does not provide lawful status” (DACA recipients and their parents are all illegally present in the United States).

The Center for Immigration Studies, a Washington, D.C. based immigration issue think tank, has identified King County, Washington, where the City of Burien is located, as sanctuary for illegal aliens.

If the residents of King County and City of Burien want to be protected and safe from threat illegal aliens who commit criminal acts like those allegedly committed by Salvador Diaz-Garcia against a 19 year old woman and a 14 year old girl they should contact their two United States Senators and tell them to pass the “No Sanctuary for Criminals Act and Kate’s Law” this congressional legislative session.
