US soldier MIA – found happily living in Vietnam 44 years later

This appeared in the Canadian news media.

The US news media seemed a whole lot less interested in the story.

This guy “disappeared” in Laos on a mission in  1968 and the Pentagon just wishes he’d disappear for good.

    I have a cousin that we received conflicting stories on.
    Story One: He was KIA; then two: MIA.
    We had a funeral with no body.

    About two years ago, I was reading an article with photographs of the Military who decided they would stay in Viet Nam….one of the photo(s) looked just like my cousin.

    I never did find out what really happened to him. The casket was closed.
