This video could have just as easily been called ‘Hitting the nail on the head’.
When Obama was running for office President Bush’s perverse use of ‘executive orders’ were a big deal at the time. So much so that Obama even promised not to rule by executive decree, yet THAT is exactly what he’s been doing.
We all know that congress is the legislative body, but when presidents can’t get congress to pass the legislation that they want, they can write and enforce their own legislation through ‘executive orders’.
This is an end-run around the legislative body, a perversion of our system of government, and by definition… dictatorial.
