Rep. Steve King: ‘I Have No Moral Obligation’ To Help Illegal Aliens Stay In USA
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, straight talking Rep. Steve King (R-IA) makes a seldom heard argument that cuts to the heart of the immigration problem. Congressman King said:
I was talking to someone about immigration reform and I told him what I thought was wrong with the approach on the bill.
He looks at me and he says “What are you going to do? How are you going to solve this problem of eleven million illegal immigrants?”
So, I gave my answer which is not a new idea; seal the border. But as I drove home that night I realized I didn’t give the correct answer.
My real answer is, “Why do I have to do anything to solve a problem that people created willingly for themselves?”
They choose to come here illegally and live in the shadows. They are happy enough to take the risk of sneaking into the United States or overstaying their visa, sneaking around and using fraudulent documents to get a job or tapping into welfare and living here in the shadows for the balance of their lives. That was their best option; the worst would be prison or deportation.
The answer to that question is: I don’t have to do anything to fix that problem.
I have no moral obligation to make it easier for people to stay here if they are people who broke the law to get here. That moral question isn’t answered by anyone; I don’t have to fix that problem. The more uncomfortable it gets for them to stay, the less problems we have. The less uncomfortable it gets, the more problems.

Rep. King has a very good point point. What is missing is that the people here are no living silently in the shadow, they know to make things miserable for us with robberies, chaos, and expression of their dislike of us until we do something. The issue is back, what can be done about it.The conflict emerges from the same illogical, out of focus issues that we see about the recent murder trials. “Do they deserve the punishment?” Answer: “Are they worth saving?” Start adding up social contribution to social damage and cost.
Funny Mexico has two standards to the same issue. On the southern border of Mexico Mexican troops SHOOT people trying to cross their southern border. The Mexican Northern border they think they have the right to slide across and break tons of laws and have a free ride out of it from our taxes. Why are my taxes being taken at gun point to give these criminals a free ride in housing/educaton/obama phones/and medical care . I want to see them shoved back across the border and kept there. Funny the Mexican government got mad when the USA starts sending them home and they no longer are funding the people back home and the government fficials are not getting their money in bribes.
1) Have those that are already here — register (just like our ancestors did at Ellis Island);
2) Background checks are a MUST;
3) After they register, they MUST attend classes to learn to read and speak English (most community colleges offer classes);
4) They must learn the Constitution; Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence (and be tested);
5) They must then go before a judge to be sworn in as an American Citizen.
6) The men “must” join the Military if he is under 30 years of age.
7) They must have a health Check
The adults will NEVER receive Social Security benefits because they have not paid into it.
They are NOT to receive food stamps for the same reason. They have never paid into the system to warrant receiving food stamps.
8) No Drivers Licenses will be issued to any person who cannot prove they are in the U.S. “legally.”
9) Put the Military on the border. Place signs at every major path where they come into the U.S. Also run ads in all the major newspapers; and give a press release to every major TV station in Mexico.
IF shot crossing the border “illegally, any lawsuits will not be accepted in any U.S. court.
Individuals who hire illegals will be fined $25,000 per person (prior to this, the fine was only $250 here in Texas;
Corporations who hire illegals will be fined $50,00 per person;
It is illegal to house illegals. It is already in law that Real Estate Sales Reps as well as apartments cannot rent to them. They do anyway. FINE THEM MUCH MORE HEAVILY and if it is the 2nd offense, they should lose their real estate license and/or be put in jail.
Community Colleges allow them to register for school. They should also be heavily fined.
To stop the illegals (and dope runners) from crossing the borders, put the Military on the border. Prior to
that, run an ad in every major newspaper in Mexico, Central America that they will be shot if caught trying to cross the border. NO LAW SUITS WILL BE HONORED BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
And, YES, there will be profiling…Anyone who is a U.S. citizen will NOT have a problem proudly showing their Drivers License, correct legal papers; or any other proof. THEY ARE, AFTER ALL, INVADING OUR COUNTRY and this has to be stopped and they will agree with us.
Steve King is absolutely correct!! None of us have any “moral” obligation to make excuses, change our laws, or shred our Constitution for anyone who knowingly and willfully breaks our laws. Even in the case of those we send to Congress, there should be absolutely ZERO tolerance for “law breaking” disquised as law making. The only solution to the illegal immigration problems that we face should be the enforcement of the laws that are on the books….and not the political and subversive attempts to excuse the otherwise criminal behavior of an invading army of malcontents, welfare recipients and public benefit thieves.
The polarization of this nation is largely due to the fact that the politicians since 1986, have been allowed to trample the Constitution into the ground. Because of their deliberate detachment from the Rule of Law and the growing apathy of the american people such chaos and confusion that we now see will only increase exponentially if we allow the Gang of 8 Amnesty Bill to become the law of the land in whole or in part. The end results will be like giving the american people a life sentence and then at some point along the road, increasing that to a sentence of death. Scripture has given us the lesson of Babylon, which we seem to forget, as well as the lesson of the many forms of evil that plagued Sodom and Gomorah. Both lessons are now found in America and the Colonization and the Balkanization of 2 major ethnic groups are quickly erroding our values, our traditions, our culture and our national sovereignty.
Now tell me honestly….do we have a “moral” obligation to destroy our nation for the sake of providing for law breakers and for the devious vision of our law makers (can you say the Gang of 8 and their advocates)?
And..the Illegal Immigration reform bill by the Gang of 8, is REALLY about REAL ID! The ID will make it so you cannot work, or seek work without it… for ALL. Then it will be used to buy and sell. And the government will keep track of EVERYTHING you do…there will be biometrics in the card, and RFID.
Is this REALLY what you want for EVERYONE in the USA? This bill is not about illegal aliens..it is about CONTROL of us ALL.
