Walmart kicks children out of store for singing God Bless America
Big-box retailer Walmart is once again in hot water after an on-site manager at one of its stores in Pembroke Pines, Florida called the police on a group of elementary school students that tried to sing “God Bless America” inside the store on September 11. After being booted from the store, the 75-member children’s choir actually had the police called on it for trying to perform the pre-arranged tune under a flag outside the store that was set at half-staff in honor of 9/11 victims, reports the South Florida Sun-Sentinal.
At the leading of their principal Terri Thelmes, the students, all of which attend Coconut Palm Elementary School in nearby Miramar, Fla., obtained permission in advance from another Walmart store manager to perform the tribute inside the store on the 9/11 anniversary. But upon arriving to the location at 12800 Pines Blvd. around 7 p.m. that Tuesday evening, another store manager told the children they were a “liability,” and that they would not be allowed to perform the song.
Confused about the situation, the choir teacher decided to relocate the children outside the Walmart to avoid any further confrontation, but the same manager that had just kicked the group out of the store allegedly proceeded to call the police to report a “flash mob situation” that needed to be disbanded. Officers arrived on the scene shortly thereafter. What had begun as a peaceful, pre-approved memorial tribute to fallen heroes, in other words, quickly escalated into a needless civil dispute.

People! This does work! Do you remember when the Muslims were producing the “All American Muslim” on TLC cable? There were many, many people who went to “Lowe’s”, and me included who went to the “complaint desk” to fill out a form that I would no longer shop there if they didn’t drop their sponsorship of the “All American Muslim.”
This was during Christmas time and I was too late. LOL They had already dropped the shop because there were SO MANY people who phoned in; went in to fill out the form that by the time I got there to buy a REAL Christmas tree from Lowe’s…they had completely sold out except for two. I got my 6′ tall REAL Christmas tree for $2.00.
As the old saying goes, “Money talks and BS walks.” It works! Go to your local Walmart and fill out a complaint form even if you don’t shop there!
I went in and read the whole story….totally sickening! There also is a comment made below that…..I wanted to comment to Luis but can’t as I’m not connected on FB. If someone else is …please inform Luis that he couls always move to Libya, Egypt or Iran where they hold the same mind-set as he does! If you don’t love America perhaps it’s best for all concerned to leave and don’t let the door hit ya’ on your way out. Bon Voyage!!
