That was the expression coined by Lord Cameron of Dillington, a farmer from Britain who was appointed head of the Countryside Agency by former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Grocery stores only keep three days worth of goods on the shelves and rely entirely on continuous shipments to keep public supplied with food.
This is as true here in the United States as it is in the UK.
Should ANYTHING prevent those shipments from arriving, we are all in a lot of trouble.
