Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) voiced concerns that the Senate passes over 90 percent of legislation without any debate, without amendment, and without a roll call vote.

Exactly and many commitment’s with foreign countries that should be handled by the President and approved by Congress, like treaties. It must must stop only the President can act as an emergency action not Congress because you can Call the President but the Congress? Such a diffused group responsibility is hard to pin down. I always look for the source but it can always said, “Congress passed not I” always safer to have a name names on it.
