No, President Obama is not an emperor or a king, but if he can simply dismiss the other two branches of government, then what’s the difference?
The concept of checks and balances arises from the fact that there are THREE branches of government, each with the power to check and balance the other two.
The President’s comments the other day about the Supreme Court implied that he believes the judicial branch has no authority to check the executive or legislative branches.
Clearly, this ‘Constitutional Law Professor’ is off his rocker.
But that wasn’t the only gaffe the President made with his comments on the Supreme Court…

Absolutely, and they should address this to Congress that has been acting as the Executive Offices getting around the President decisions. Congress can only sign treaties and denied funds for war they have not declared. The special interest Lobbies are using Congress members to take action and stand against the President Policies. Tome receive and the action they take in support of those action .
