Armed citizens under scrutiny after Florida shooting
Armed citizens are under a great deal of scrutiny since the shooting of Trayvon Martin in Florida, where George Zimmerman followed, confronted, and then shot Trayvon Martin, who was unarmed.
George Zimmerman is claiming self-defense and the police appear to be buying it, but whether it’s true or not, it has NOTHING to do with anyone else’s right to self-defense.
This case has nothing to do with the pizza delivery guy who was ambushed by three armed robbers and was able to successfully defend himself.
This case has nothing to do with the 84 yr. old woman who was able to defend herself from an intruder.
Nor does this case have anything to do with the ability to defend yourself standing at an ATM.
