In Orange County, California, it is illegal to hold regular meetings in your home.

It is considered illegal to hold “a regular gathering of more than three people” on private property.

That’s right, on your own private property.

Now, the story that reveals this is over “home bible studies”, a brazen violation of the First Amendment, which guarantees free worship without government intervention.

However, it would seem that this would also apply to book clubs, or theater groups, or any other type of regular meeting that ‘free’ people might want to hold in their own homes.
