Power struggle in Quartzsite / Pending FBI Investigation
Corruption by Quartzsite local government is coming to a head as the FBI steps-in to investigate.
This past summer, the firing and house arrest of 9 police officers, caused an outrage. Two officers were allowed to return under suspicious reasons.
A national organization of former military and law enforcement officers, the “Oath Keepers” arrived in Quartzsite to stage a march in support of the fired officers. Over 250 patriots marched to the court house and presented awards to the officers and activists that are still in the mix of exposing corruption.
Following the protest march, a series of arrests began, with no merit and all cases thrown out of court. In conjunction with Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the police chief (Jeff Gilbert) admits in a public statement of a joint effort to target certain individuals on BLM land in what is titled, “Operation Get Them Out.”
The town prosecutor, the chief of police, and a few town officials are about to become Hollywood movie quality drama, facing accusations of tyranny and malfeasance.
Quartzsite Arizona is a clear and present danger with all the threats and political scandals, now causing federal intervention, considering the lack of concern by State Attorney Tom Horne and Governor Jan Brewer to clean-up the mess.

Actually, if you would bother to read the attached article from AZCentral, you would discover, “At the same time, La Paz County Attorney Sam Vederman has asked the FBI to investigate “potential systemic corruption” involving municipal leaders.” And this, “An FBI spokesman declined to comment.”
So, in effect, NO ASSUMPTION!
