Not long ago, we posted on Rhode Island being the first State to rebel against indefinite detention, well, since then the State of Washington is now considering a bill the would disallow any cooperation with such activities by the federal government or military in their State.
State nullification is the idea that the States can and must refuse to enforce unconstitutional federal laws.
“Nullification: The Rightful Remedy” is a documentary film, coming out next week, which elaborates on the States Tenth Amendment right to reject unconstitutional federal laws.

Harold, great, that is what I have been answering to all those petition to Amend the constitution. Don’t touch it! every time they did so they lost control of the issue and political dealing began to get the vote so we end up wit all kind of changes we never wanted. There are all kind of way to do it, as the States have done based on the power the Constitution gave them, and also let us remember Congress makes law not the Supreme Court, Congress cal write another law that, for all practical purposes can render existing law irrelevant. I’m always suspicious when politician urge “amendments”.
