Americans completely stripped of all rights under Section 1031
The Senate last night codified into law the power of the U.S. military to indefinitely detain an American citizen with no charge, no trial and no oversight whatsoever with the passage of S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act.
One amendment that would have specifically blocked the measures from being used against U.S. citizens was voted down and the final bill was passed 93-7.

This past week our Constitution went on life support. How you ask? The National Defense Authorization Act bill (S. 1867).
We have ONE last chance to save our country… and our rights under the Constitution!

This bill MUST GO BACK TO THE HOUSE !
I AM BEGGING EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU TO CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVE ASAP!! AND LET HIM/HER KNOW YOU ARE TOTALLY AGAINST THE AMENDMENTS IN THIS BILL, THAT TAKE THE RIGHTS GIVEN TO US BY GOD, AND REITERATED IN THE CONSTITUTION BILL OF RIGHTS… TO DUE PROCESS OF LAW!
IF we let this bill become law….we will no longer have the Constitution. We will lose all our rights. Posse Comitatus will cease to exist!
You will have the military..at the whim of the President, declaring your next door neighbor, (or yourself), as a domestic terrorist, and being taken away without a lawyer, without a trial, and imprisoned for as long as there is a war on terror. THAT IS A LIFE SENTENCE and the person was never CONVICTED! Then…how does he prove he did not do anything…if he never had a trial? Can you NOT see someone who does not like you, telling the police or military, that you are an enemy combatant, or domestic terrorist? It happens all the time! People call into police stations all the time, and tell lies to get back at someone. This year, a man was arrested, all his goods and computers and guns taken from him, because someone did not like him. This was done under the so called Patriot Act. It is also known that there is a SECRET Patriot Act. Congress knows about it. We are losing our rights every day!
Is this what you want? Do you not understand, this is what happened in Nazi Germany, in Russia, in Italy…when the government became the power..and the leader… became the dictator!
You will be afraid to speak…for fear of being arrested and detained indefinitely! You will be walking on egg shells the rest of your life.
If you speak against the current administration or any administration in the future, that President can have you indefinitely detained..imprisoned!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? Are you going to contact your Representative and tell him/her to stop this madness of the
National Defense Authorization Act bill (S. 1867)? Forget Lindsey Graham. He won’t budge! I WILL work hard to have him NOT re-elected when the time comes! IF there is a USA then!
Of what value then are paper constitutions and oaths binding officers to
their preservation, if there is not intelligence enough in the people to discern the violations and virtue enough to resist the violators?

Am I missing something? Cannot find the word civilian just citizes, by omission that would include civilians????
