Dallas police officer shoves protester off of platform then lies about it

It seems that some cops just can’t help themselves. Officer Hollis of the Dallas Police Department shoved a peaceful protester off of a platform at an Occupy Dallas event, causing injury, and then lied saying that it was the protester who assaulted HIM.

When will these guys learn that there are cameras at these events?

After initially charging the victim of the assault with the crime, video shows that it was the officer that is guilty and the victim has now been released.

The officer has been placed on restricted duty and is now being investigated. Let’s hope they follow through before this ‘officer’ seizes another opportunity to bully, abuse, and lie about another citizen has was supposed to be serving and protecting…
