Tucson Sector Border Patrol Agents Apprehend Fugitive Featured
Subject wanted in Des Moines, Iowa for vehicular homicide
Yesterday, Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Casa Grande Border Patrol Station arrested an illegal alien that was previously featured on an episode of America’s Most Wanted. The individual is wanted in Des Moines, Iowa, for vehicular homicide since 2008.
Feliciano Diaz, a 25-year-old Mexican male from Chiapas, Mexico, was arrested for being in the United States illegally. During processing, the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) revealed an active warrant for his arrest in Des Moines for vehicular homicide, Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution and other related charges.
Diaz was featured on the Aug. 1, 2009 episode of the America’s Most Wanted television show highlighting a hit and run accident that he was involved in which left a horseback trail guide and his horse dead on Sept. 26, 2008. Extradition arrangements are currently being made.
