A Middle East Without America?

February 18, 2011
Patrick J. Buchanan

The fever sweeping the Middle East is now coursing through Libya, Yemen, Iran and Bahrain, where the U.S. Fifth Fleet is based.

In all four nations, state violence is being used to crush the rebels, and regime survival hangs on whether security forces and the army stand behind the government or stand aside.

A new Middle East is dawning. What will it look like?

Perhaps the nation to study is Turkey, which has already gone through a democratic and dramatic transformation.

And now… the rest of the story. …..

Go Pat Go!I agree with every thing you said except for America being a looser. Our position is that Obama has a chance of setting the USA free of that bound age with Israel that Congress misinterpreted abused and expanded from the original Carter agreement.

We can help by exposing the deceitful lies and keep Obama informed of the true facts especially if they differ from what he is being told, we hope you will do the same. Obama has always been gracious if suggestions are helpful and will use them. It was his speech that launched the hope of the people. It was his ending of those fraudulent Peace Negotiations that caused even Republicans, except the Neo Con from both parties, to sound relieved to have this nation free again to follow its traditional and Constitutional values.
What can we do? We know who the false flags are, Ross, of all people was in charge of that secret report on the potential uprising and I can almost bet it was not Obama’s idea and the report was to make sure Obama would actively support “our friends” and give Netanyahu and the Neo Con their coveted war. The report explains the initial Obama hesitation. We did our best to urge Obama to stay the course on the side of history and the people with freedom, justice and democracy. This despite Israel pressure on Mubarak to resist and send troops into the Sinai—how convenient.
You can help Pat, we are independent we owe no allegiance to Parties nor seek favors from them. I hope you will help us guide those people away from false leadership and toward real democracy and freedom with respect for all peaceful nations regardless of religions or race.
