According to an email from the Traditional Values Coalition, the OmniPork Spending Bill has yes another offensive, unbelievable expense within its sausage-laden pages — an $8 million dollar earmark allocated to the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate.

The earmark is on page 383, part of the $41.4 million allocation to the Department of Defense.

Now precisely what is the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate?  According to sources, it is part think tank, part museum.  So basically, it is a monument created to honor the worst kind of excesses and ironically, work against anyone who serves in our country’s uniform.  Few United States Senators worked harder to defund the military than Ted Kennedy.

You thought you have seen arrogance from the United States Congress before the election?  Read the Omnibus Spending Bill and take a gander at the obscene last act from the collapsed house of cards that is the failed leadership of the U.S. Congress.  Sad.

January cannot come fast enough.
