House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wants to push for a vote during the lame-duck session on a bill that would legalize young, undocumented immigrants if they attend college or serve in the military, according to Democratic sources familiar with a leadership conference call Wednesday.
A vote on the bill, known as the DREAM Act, could come as early as next week, the sources said. Pelosi asked Rep. George Miller (D-Calif.) and Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.) to assess the mood of the caucus, according to one source.

I have just read where Cantor who has worked with Pelosi in promoting the Jewish Lobby request for a Congressional position paper that Congress fully support Netanyahu position on settlements and bombing Iran and ended with the issue of H. RES. 1553 committing this Nation to Nuclear war in support of Israel attack on Iran. All of this contradicting the President position which makes it an abuse if power by crossing into territory that belongs to the Executive. In the article I read Cantor is already meeting with Netanyahu and has pledged full cooperation against Obama position if non supportive of Netanyahu’s demand. It will be interesting to see if Pelosi will repeat her usual support of Jewish Lobby’s demand joining Cantor in his effort. If so, this is an opportunity to demand to disqualify her as unfit for the position of Speaker because she uses her position to support special interest issues and does so by abusing her authority.
