Times: Dems Frightened of Townhall Meetings

Frightened of the reception they’ll receive from enraged constituents, Democrats are avoiding townhall meetings this summer, according to The New York Times.

“Of the 255 Democrats who make up the majority in the House, only a handful held town-hall-style forums as legislators spent last week at home in their districts,” the Times reported Sunday. “It was no scheduling accident.”
