On Friday, Governor Jan Brewer signed into law Senate Bill 1070. This legislation is another step forward in securing our border and protecting our neighborhoods.

I have signed a petition in support of securing our borders and calling on the federal government to finally act. I urge you to join me by clicking on the following link now:

Since signing this legislation, Governor Brewer has come under attack from President Obama, Mayor Phil Gordon, Al Sharpton and the liberal east coast media. Join me in standing with her and fighting for true illegal immigration reform.

I see clearly how SB 1070 helps protect the US border from fugitives illegaly crossing over into the United States. I wished that American employers did not hire illegal immigrant workers as a shortcut to profit. For the unemployed American, there are the problems of illegal immigrant workers fraudulently accepting work in the US, and the American employers who hire illegal immigrant workers while failing to verify their legal identity through the US Justice Department. I wish that the federal government would look at unemployment as another important aspect of national security.

Congratulations Governor Brewer and Arizona for taking the first real step to halting the onslaught of illegals that continue pour through the borders and into our country feasting on entitlements that they have no right to. We have become a country of procrastinating the vital issues and hyperinflating the non-important small detailed items which has seriously misplaced our value alignment to the point of crisis. Thank you Governor Brewer signing Senate Bill 1070 into law and for urging the other border state governors to do likewise. It is now essential they follow your lead and implement this bill that is just enforcing that laws that have been there all along! If the president would make good on his campaign promise of pulling the U.S. troups out of the Middle East and bring them home to protect our country instead of worrying about the terrorists he might discover that by protecting our home front the terrorists would go away. Amongst those going away would also be these illegals that think that the U.S. is the Land of Oz. Take another look wizard. No more freebies here.

As a USA citizen and Cuban American I applaud the Governor for doing was is right.

These people have NO rights in the USA. Their rights are in their country of origin. They need to go back and apply to come in our country legally.

This should have been done 20 years ago. This is like closing the barn door after the fox entered the barn. But better late than never.

We lose jobs to to the illegals as they are working off the books and offering to work in construction and other jobs at a lower rate than we as Americans can to survive and pay our taxes.

They are happy to work at a lower rate as they work off the books, live in crowded house and send money back to their country to bring more family into the US.

This needs to stop as it is not good for our country or theirs. It is hurting earnings to our American families that bankrupting the USA.
