This Is Hardball: Time to Use the “Bunning” Tactic!

Why not hold up all of Obama’s nominations until the abomination called ObamaCare is rescinded and consigned to the trash bin?

In passing their wretched health care reform disaster, Democrats, including President Obama, used every dirty trick at their disposal to maneuver around legitimate concerns over the probity and Constitutionality of the bill.

Unable to pass ObamaCare on its own merits, party leaders scuttled Senate rules on the filibuster, resorted to “reconciliation” chicanery, floated the ill-conceived “deem and pass” scheme and the Slaughter option in Nancy Pelosi’s House of ill repute, ignored the will of the majority of Americans, and generally behaved as though there was no Constitution or rule of law to which they were accountable.

Rarely, if ever, have elected representatives been as hostile to the rule of law and to the very people from whom their power emanates. It was though the very idea of government “by and for the people” was declared null and void by empty-headed Progressives more concerned with the Obama legacy than with the future of our great nation and its 300 million residents.

The story continues …..

The first thing that happens whenever a repub. president comes to town is the regulators are put on a short lease and muzzled. Then with a little encouragement from the democrats the tycoons and robber barons on wall street go to town strip mining the financial markets so that first there is a boom and then a bust with the little guy on main street getting stuck with the bill from the party he was never invited too.

Our political system is corrupt and corrupts absolutely any and all who dare to enter it that the reality is the only difference in democrats and republicans is the name.

I’ll agree with your comment about Bush unconstitutionally involving us in Iraq.
But Bush did NOT “create the banking and home owner crisis”. One needs look no farther than the Clinton administration and the Rangel/Dodd congress to see who the real culprits were.
And Bush & Obama were equally responsible for the bail-outs.
I will also agree that BOTH parties are equally responsible for the bastardization of our Constitution!
So, let’s give credit where credit is due!!!

Get used to it as turn about is fair play and bush did the same with the war in iraq, helped create the banking and home owner crisis that brought down the economy and then bailed out the banks while leaving those of us on main street swinging in the wind.
