business fairness, exactly, could someone from the campaign meet with me so I could describe how unfair things are in some areas of the state. It might help Medina campaign to govenor.

I have a lawn care business, with gross sales of $75K. I can show you that my family pays 45% of income in taxes. The net income of the business is about $15K. I have 2 other jobs that makes about another $18K.

I am telling you if a person is making below $40K, the city, and state are CRUSHING our family earnings.

Two weeks ago I visited the offices of Sen. Jane Nelson, Sen, Wendy Davis, my 2 employess and I told them our story about changes that need to happen. I have not heard from either of those offices.

If you would contact me I would apprecciate it.

Great post by Tory. Everyone needs to watch this debate and learn what a candidate who actually believes in our Consittution is all about. Some might ask since this site seems to be more interested in national issues, why discuss the Texas election here. Let me tell you why, when Debra Medina becomes governor of Texas, the rest of the nation will take note. The thought will be, “if it can happen in Texas, it can happen in our state. The question Republicans must ask is not “who can win in the March Primary?” The real question is “which Republican can beat Bill White next November?” With the tea parties, the 9-12 events and the general “anti-incumbent” attitude, White will wipe up the floor with either RP or KBH. Howver, Debra Medina can take White to the mat and hold him down for the count. Do the Republicans want to be winners in 2010, or do they want to continue to become more and more irrelevent? Yes, Obama is in serious trouble, but unless the Republicans began to enbrace and welcome Ron Paul supporters, independents and the otherwise disinfranchised, there will be a viable third party candidate in 2012 and the Republicans will go the way of the Whigs and the Torys.
