There are times when, despite the potential seriousness of a crime, a little compassion is in order for those and their families, for children cannot be held responsible for the crimes of their parents.
They especially should not be made to suffer if their parents are actually innocent of any crimes.
So it’s with no small helping of disdain we bring you the story of a wrongly accused suspect whose family was made to suffer needlessly because a St. Paul, Minn., storm-trooper drug task force kicked in the wrong door.

this, is inhumane, cruel treatment to kill a families family dog, especially when its the wrong family. The police should be held accountable for their mistakes, especially cruelty to young children. This is UNJUSTIFIED!!!!
Even if members of the St. Paul Police Dept. drug unit police had raided the right house, was their call for police to shoot the family dog? Increasingly the press reports police shooting family dogs on private property they are raiding when the dogs never posed a threat. Is it standard procedure for police during raids to kill people’s dogs during a raid? Police proven to have needlessly killed someone’s dog(s) perhaps should be publicized nationally with a photo of the officer alongside a picture of the pet they shot on a national website to alert the public. Some dog owners equate police shooting their family dog to murdering a family member. From a public relations stand point, police would be extremely stupid to shoot hoot anyone’s dog without cause, The article did not say why the St. Paul Police Dept. drug unit shot the innocent hone owner’s dog when they raided the wrong house.
These kids will grow up remembering and get that… that killed their dog.
