A sign of the times

In the 1930 thirties there were massive crowds competing for shifts outside factories and at the docks, there were huge bread lines, and other visual indicators of the economic depression.

Today, many of those visual indicators are masked by unemployment checks and food stamp cards. The modern day bread line is right next to you in the check out line at the grocery store, but many fail to fully realize it.

It is now getting to a point where even the high-tech bread line isn’t enough to mask our economic woes…
