Six months after the shooting in Tucson that killed six people and wounded Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., the Obama administration has yet to move on new gun control legislation.
That could change soon.
White House spokesman Jay Carney said a special task force has been “working through these complex issues, and we expect to have some more specific announcements in the near future.”

We have enough laws in the book to cover bad guys getting guns and muders and everything else. They just need to enforce them, starting with the cops through the judges and judicial system. More laws will not solve anything.
When I buy a weapon, I go through the checks and law. When a criminal buys one, it is normally not like that.
One more thing. It is not a complex issue, it is very simple. You will not get the weapons. You will not get the ammunition. You can legislate all you want, all it does is make it harder and more expensive for law biding citizens to obtain these.
And by the way, the 2nd amendment is in place to insure that we can protect our ourselves from all criminals, including government.
