A permit to carry a concealed weapon in New Hampshire may not be necessary.
The Senate Judiciary Committee in the Granite State will hold a hearing on a bill this week. It has already passed the House where gun rights advocates argue government should not have control over basic rights.
If the bill becomes law, New Hampshire will join Vermont, Arizona and Alaska as states that do not require a permit to carry concealed weapons.
