The coming collapse of the American middle class
We originally posted this when almost no one outside academic and legal circles knew who Elizabeth Warren was.
Now the Rethuglicans are politically crucifying her for short term political gain and the Demoncrats are going to let them.
Why?
Because Warren has some hard truths to tell that no one at the top wants to hear.
With all the introductions, her talk doesn’t really get going until 6:00 minutes into the video…then it REALLY gets going.
Why the US (and developed world) is collapsing financially and what it means for the future of the middle class.
Keep in mind this talk was given in 2007.
Warren knew exactly what was going to happen and why …
… and no one listened because Greenspan & Co. were sure we could borrow our way to a higher living standards.
