Laboring for US citizenship

Beijing 2008 Olympics' mascots and logo are painted on the bellies of six pregnant women. The enthusiasm of Chinese people for having a baby in the United States to enable the child to have American citizenship was "crazy", according to Jia Zijun, a Chinese American who returned to the mainland from the US three years ago to set up her own business that helps Chinese women to give birth overseas
Increasing numbers of Chinese women seek to give birth in North America
The business of helping pregnant Chinese women to give birth in the United States has attracted an increasing number of people to the market. However, one insider predicts it will come to an end in five years.
The enterprise, which began 20 years ago in Taiwan province, has become popular on the Chinese mainland.
For Jia Zijun, a Chinese American who returned to the mainland from the US three years ago to start the business, the enthusiasm of Chinese people for having a baby in the US so it could have American citizenship was “crazy”.
That issue could be put to rest if Congress would revisit the citizen issue. Over the years when the issue comes up Congress just say “too complicated, Founders not clear” That is hogwash. There are documents as far back as 1200 where the people made it clear what citizenship means, its rights and duties. I published those documents in my Newsletter after careful research. Each document was specific that citizenship, becomes part of the person and the description of the rights derived from citizenship curiously follow Locke description of property on the bases that a person can take what is free from the forest and it has no value BUT once the person starts working on the item his labor gave it value as well as making it the property of the person. They apply the same reasoning to Citizenship, with the inherent natural right that their children are automatically also citizens with all rights and duties by being natural born, the product of his labor. It is not racist because the principle applies to all citizens and the child is natural born. Since it appear to be based on the genes of the citizen parent soon one might have to discuss artificial insemination.
We need to insist that Congress must accept the error of previous political decisions and place that issue back as per the Constitution. Being born here by non citizen parents makes the child eligible for citizenship but not a natural citizen.
