Councilman calls police to bust 13 year old entrepreneurs
When you were growing up…..did you ever have a lemonade stand? I sure did.
A little neighbor friend from down the block and I had a lemonade stand and we sold Dixie cups full of watery lemonade to any neighbor who passed our way.
We thought it was pretty cool.
So did a group of kids from New Castle New York, who had set up a little cupcake stand. They made some money their first day and like any good entrepreneurs, invested in their business and even expanded their offerings to include drinks the next day.
Then….The Man stepped in and called the cops. Police shut down the budding businessmen when they received a complaint from Councilman Michael Wolfensohn that the kids were operating their cupcake stand….without a license.
