A World of Obama Contradictions

This morning, Barack Obama appointed Austan Goolsbee the head of his Council of Economic Advisers. Goolsbee figures in an early story that should have tipped America off about Barack Obama; during the 2008 Democratic primaries, Obama promised to renegotiate NAFTA and possibly withdraw from the free trade agreement with Canada. But Goolsbee secretly telephoned the Canadian government to tell them it was merely campaign rhetoric for hicks in the Rust Belt.
