As tens of thousands of News With Views readers respond to my columns, more and more Americans expose this country’s predicament. We find ourselves in the middle of importing incompatible cultures into our communities like a high school chemistry class throwing unknown chemicals together. Result: the mixture will either melt down or blow up.

President Teddy Roosevelt said, “The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, or preventing as possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities. We have one flag. We have one language, English.”
