You are a racist!
How often must that be the answer to questions about policy and politicians? How long will that be the defense against legitimate questions?
Since the Health Care Reform was passed, there has been no lack of major media attention on the manner in which a selected group of politicians have been treated. Selected to only comment on the Democrats, and predominantly those of color. Also highly isolated yet publicized are any and all references to race, especially if it can be tied to anyone claiming to be part of the Republican Party or the Tea Party Movement. Not long ago, while the Health Care debate raged on with Democrats holding out for deals to present their yes vote, President Jimmy Carter and President Clinton made accusations that ANY disagreement MUST be founded in racial ignorance.
But let’s pause for a moment.
