“llegal aliens are NOT immigrants–they are trespassers who have either illegally crossed the border or illegally overstayed their visas. The 12-20 million illegal aliens already here are detrimental to American society in countless ways, including undercutting our wages and devastating our health care and educational systems. There is also a disproportionate amount of illegal alien violent criminals, with at least 25 Americans being killed by an illegal alien EVERY DAY.”

The story continues …..

To the Dimocrats, an illegal aliens is an Undocumented Democrat voter. Amnesty for illegal aliens is the Dimocrat plan to gain millions of votes when the illegals become citizens and vote loyally for the Social Democrat party.

You are absolutely right. Amnesty is the wrong word being use or non acceptable action being pushed on us. It started by a Republican President to manipulate the issue of the millions of aliens brought in by American agri-businesses and other low level works that went unfilled at the lower rate if pay to increase profit under bad condition. As usual it became a political issue for political votes.
Now, for the same reasons and reason and reason of compassion it is being tried again this time to to pressure by Latino politician looking for votes.

There is a solution and that is to approach it from higher level that those financial constrain brought on us by the excessive immigration for job at higher level as well. Not only low paying job are now taken from citizens but all level of well paying job.
I have found a simple way to satisfy both reasonable sides on the illegal issue, while we change the immigration rules re-inserting the traditional view of quotas based on maintaining a balance and preventing any ethnic group to eventually outvote the native population. Including
calculations based on rate of birth of any particular ethnic group.
But we must clarify the word AMNESTY which implies a Pardon.
All illegal could be given the original work permit and the employer assumes responsibility for their health and welfare so they may not become public charges. The word Public Charges is clear in the immigration law and must be enforced. The Permit will legalize their presence but at no time must include a pathway to citizenship. Eventually some may apply for Residency which allows them to remain in the USA even if they change jobs. But no voting right.
And here is where I place my argument on that issue. Citizenship is a special privilege of birth or an entrance visa granted to applicant under the quota (which should now be eliminated and base visa on invitation by family or employers or qualification determined to be a benefit to the nation. Mostly technical and professional. These people can apply for citizenship if they qualify and are accepted as equal to natives. The argument is that in the calculation authorities must consider the consequences of dilution of voting on the rest of the population. People with citizenship who present a US passport carry with them abroad the protection of their government and also have responsibility not to cause embarrassment to their native country. This issue is now evident on those Israeli who assassinated a high level Palestinian official and had traveled with a variety of prestigious passport such as British French and others. A passport was always intended to be a document that requested the right o passage or visit to another nation under he guarantee they are not enemies or dangerous people t the host nations.

My protest on Amnesty is always “our citizenship is not for sale or trade for votes. Citizenship carries power to determine the law of the land, a power and privilege we are not willing to share with Aliens looking only for what this country can do for them, the citizenship implies what we as citizen can do for our country.
