A U.S. senator has weighed in on the continuing controversy over Barack Obama’s eligibility for office by saying he has never seen proof the new president was actually born in Hawaii.
“Well, his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven’t seen any birth certificate,” Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., told constituents in Cullman County. “You have to be born in America to be president.”

YOu have to live in the United States 5 years after you are the age 18 and Obamas mother did not do that. Thus, obama is not a naturalized american citizen, even though his mother was an American. He also lost his citizenship when he was adopted by his indonesian father, and Indonesia did NOT ALLOW dual citizenshipo, so he lost it. He lost it again when he traveled to pakistan, using a indonesia passport.
Check Obama’s fathers passport to see if he was in US 9 months before Barrick’s birth.
